Gökhan Arer
An Istanbul-based candid street photographer and a chemical engineer by profession. Since 2015, I’ve been walking the chaotic streets of this city with one simple goal: to frame the unexpected. My work focuses on spontaneous juxtapositions that can’t be staged — illusions found in everyday life, visible only for a fleeting moment. I do — unscripted, vibrant, and full of visual irony. Photography, for me, is not just documentation — it’s a moment of escape. A pause. A punchline.
Gülhan Yıldız
I am a street photographer based in Ankara, Türkiye. For me, photography is not merely a means of creating images but a way of witnessing people’s everyday lives, the spirit of cities, and the moments that often go unnoticed. I am particularly drawn to documenting spontaneous encounters, human relationships, and the natural stories that unfold in public spaces. In my work, I strive to maintain a balance between light, composition, and emotional storytelling. My goal is to reveal the universal emotions hidden within seemingly ordinary moments and invite viewers to see their own lives from a different perspective.
Hakan Biyiklioglu
Istanbul-based photographer who treats the street as a living character rather than a backdrop. He works with patience and intuition, letting feeling lead over technique — always after the emotion beneath the surface, never just what the eye can see.
Jair Hernandez
I'm mexican with passion for street and documentary photography. I spent a decade in Panama, where I found in photography a form of meditation, a way to immerse in the present moment and uncover the artistry in everyday candid scenes. I capture also compelling portraits of strangers. Embracing the vibrant colors that define my native Mexico City, I transitioned from BNW to color photography.
Janusz Jurek
A visual artist: a graphic designer, illustrator, and street photographer with a passion for finding the absurd in everyday life and intriguing candid situations that somehow deviate from the norm. He has won over 70 awards and distinctions in photography competitions in Poland and internationally, and his graphics and photographs have been presented at over 200 events, exhibitions, and festivals.
Kevin Wolf
I am a street, documentary & editorial photographer with a focus on human stories and the accidental comedy of every day life.
Márcia Celjar
Brazilian street photographer based in Rio de Janeiro. Internationally exhibited and awarded. Photo walk leader and curator, helping photographers experience the city beyond its landmarks.
Murat Harmanlikli
Murat Harmanlıklı is an Istanbul-based street photographer whose work explores the subtle relationships between people, light, and urban life. His photography is driven by observation, patience, and an instinct for finding extraordinary moments within everyday life. Working primarily in the streets of Istanbul, he creates poetic visual narratives that balance humor, emotion, and ambiguity while reflecting the city's ever-changing rhythm. His photographs often reveal unexpected connections, fleeting gestures, layers of meaning that emerge from ordinary scenes. Rather than documenting the city, he seeks to capture its atmosphere, inviting viewers to slow down and rediscover the poetry hidden in everyday life.
Mustafa Seven
Mustafa Seven is an Istanbul-based documentary and street photographer with over three decades of experience. Beginning his career in photojournalism in the 1990s, he worked for major Turkish newspapers and magazines, developing a distinctive visual language focused on people, cities, memory, and everyday life. His photographs have been exhibited internationally and published in six books, including Instanbul, One-Person City, and La Latinité de Constantinople. Having photographed in more than sixty countries, Seven continues to explore the human traces that shape urban life. Through exhibitions, books, workshops, and long-term projects, he approaches photography as both testimony and a lasting physical encounter.
Sebastian Piatek
Sebastian Piatek was born in Poland in 1982 and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany. A self-taught photographer, he works primarily in street photography and has been traveling full-time for the past few years.
Sonia Simbolo
Sonia Simbolo is a freelance photographer based in Rome, finding in street photography the meeting point between her work and passion. Working in event and portrait photography, she has learned to look at everyday life through changing perspectives: the street has taught her the freedom to express herself without fear, exploring different ways to observe and interpret the world around her. Her gaze embraces both the world and her inner universe. As poet Hugo von Hofmannsthal wrote: “we discover in the world only what we already have within ourselves; but we need the world to discover what lies within ourselves.”
Stefano Mirabella
Stefano Mirabella (Rome, 1973) is an Italian photographer working in documentary and street photography. He began his photographic journey in 2003, initially focusing on social documentary work across Asia and the Middle East. Since 2012, street photography has become the core of his creative and professional practice, allowing him to explore everyday life through a personal visual language. A former member of the Italian collective Spontanea, he was a winner of the Leica Talent Award in 2014. He currently teaches at Officine Fotografiche in Rome and Leica Akademie Italy. In 2021, he curated an exhibition dedicated to Caio Mario Garrubba.
Turgut Coşkun
Turgut Coşkun is an Istanbul-based street and documentary photographer working since 2013. A graduate of Anadolu University’s Photography and Camerawork program, his work has earned recognition through publications, exhibitions, and competitions. Guided by observation, instinct, timing, and composition, he photographs candid encounters, movement, and unexpected relationships in everyday urban life.
Reviews
“A wonderful experience! We went on an inspiring photo walk with Marcia. We started very early in the morning and she took us to some sensational spots along Rio’s city beaches that exude a unique sunrise atmosphere. Marcia showed us lots of beautiful, authentic corners of Rio de Janeiro and knew exactly when and where the light would be at its best. Her open, positive personality made us feel right at home straight away. A brilliant street photographer with a real passion for her work – highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Rio through the lens.”
